About the position

The Social Media Intern at Nemours Children's Health will assist in the daily operations and content production for the organization's social media platforms, primarily focusing on TikTok. This role involves collaborating with the Social Media team to create engaging content across various channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and X/Twitter, while also supporting marketing communications during events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and execution of social media posts with a focus on TikTok
• Help create and edit short-form videos
• Assist with photo/video content shoots
• Support the team's tracking of social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and projects for scalability
• Support marketing communications team at live and online events
• Perform social media marketing research
• Respond to comments and direct messages on social media platforms
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
• Create compelling graphics to share across social channels
• Write social media captions that speak to the company's target audience

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Candidates must be in their 3rd or 4th year in a relevant college program such as Communications, Social Media, Marketing, Public Relations, Video/Photo Production, Digital Media
