About the position

The Social Media Intern will play a crucial role in enhancing the social media presence of Simon shopping centers by creating engaging content for Instagram and TikTok. This position involves collaborating with local marketing teams to highlight unique shopping experiences and promotions, while also aligning with corporate marketing strategies. The internship is part-time and flexible, extending through December 2024.

Responsibilities

• Craft eye-popping visuals and killer captions for social media posts.
• Stay ahead of the latest Instagram and TikTok trends and potentially start new trends.
• Master the use of hashtags to enhance discoverability and audience reach.
• Produce engaging TikTok videos that reflect the brand's personality.
• Engage with the community by responding to comments and DMs, fostering conversations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong creativity and skills in content creation for social media.
• Tech-savvy with familiarity in the latest social media tools and trends.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with local and corporate teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a Virtual-First environment.
