About the position

We are seeking talented summer interns for Summer 2024 to join our dynamic team focusing on Sports projects. This role involves performing elementary architectural assignments and collaborating with design professionals passionate about Aviation, Sports, and Transit design. Interns will have the opportunity to explore design challenges, contribute to unique projects, and be part of a culture that values curiosity, imagination, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Performs elementary architectural assignments and works from designs of others.
• Compiles data, performs basic computations, and prepares working drawings on projects of limited scope.
• Assists in compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and business development.
• Conducts preliminary studies to obtain information regarding space and design requirements, obtaining measurements and making sketches for contract drawings.
• Researches, gathers, and records information for use in writing specifications.
• Performs basic analyses of design, planning, and occupancy studies and limited design layouts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in a post-secondary architectural or related program.
• Experience constructing and assembling a large scale detailed physical model using several materials and techniques.
• Experience making models both manually and by 3D printing.
• Experience working with model making tools.
• Proficiency in software: knowledge and skills in Rhino; basic knowledge of Revit.

• Previous internship experience
• 3 years of enrollment in a post-secondary architectural program.
