About the position

Lumen is offering a fully immersive 10-week summer internship program for aspiring IT Analysts in the ERP Finance Transformation group. Interns will engage in hands-on experience, applying their IT knowledge to support the Finance area of SAP S4/HANA, while contributing to the company's commitment to innovation and technology advancement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor billing files process within BRIM system
• Work billing file errors daily
• Work support tickets for the finance users
• Update account assignment tables within BRIM
• Research bank posting errors
• Analyze and document complex IT processes and provide resolution recommendations
• Provide support for billing error resolution, testing of bug fixes, and system enhancements
• Utilize configuration documents to test various modules of the system and provide insight into training documentation.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship
• Graduating August 2025 - May 2027
• Preferred fields include but are not limited to: Business, Computer Science or related field
• Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 - August 8, 2025)
• US work authorization required. Individuals needing visa sponsorship are not eligible.
• Proficiency and understanding of Process Documentation, Requirements Gathering, Microsoft Excel, Data Entry and Data Management, GUI based tools, and ability to compare and contrast data elements to identify gaps.
