About the position

The position supports the analysis, design, programming, modification, and testing of software programs for designated products and customer applications, specifically focusing on the P5 Combat Training System/Tactical Combat Training System (CTS/TCTS). The role involves close supervision and direction, with responsibilities including requirements definition, project planning, and coordination among various engineering groups.

Responsibilities

• Requirements definition
• Project planning
• Coordination between engineering groups (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)
• Planning and execution of test activities
• Customer presentations
• Help team with production demonstrations
• Mockup proof of concept materials
• Administration of DOORS (requirements management tool) and Cameo (MBSE tool)

Requirements

• Enrollment in a four-year college degree program in engineering, computer science or other related technical discipline and in at least the second year of college
• Effective written and oral communication skills including the use of typical Microsoft Office products
• Previously exposed to introductory computer language training
• Ability to work in a lab environment and use a computer
