About The Position

Waters Corporation is always looking to hire outstanding future talent for our company. The TA Instruments R&D team is looking to hire a summer intern out of our New Castle, Delaware office. This internship is a phenomenal opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world's leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately ten weeks and the program will commence in the spring/summer of 2025. Waters is laser focused on groundbreaking life-science innovation, diversity, equity and inclusion, and global impact.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree (preferably in Materials Science, Physics, Engineering or Computer Science)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate findings effectively.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation, including the ability to collect and analyze relevant data to understand a product's behavior under different conditions.
  • Experience designing test plans, executing test cases, analyzing results, and writing test reports.
  • Familiarity with test management tools, like Jira and MS Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Characterize complete system (instrument and software) behavior.
  • Work closely with a cross functional team in evaluating current systems and aid in design decisions on future development.
  • Provide testing support in the design and execution of automation and/or manual tests.
  • Provide work estimation and tracking information to support management decisions and planning.
  • Keep a pro-active attitude to insure continuous improvement of the system quality, work process and individual skills.
