About The Position

Rockwell Automation is seeking interns for its Technical Sales and Consulting Internship Program, a 12-week program designed to provide a blend of sales, technical, and professional training. Interns will work in various field sales offices across North America, engaging with customers to understand their needs and promote Rockwell Automation's solutions. The program offers three tracks: Business Development Representatives, Account Managers, and Domain Experts, each focusing on different aspects of sales and customer engagement.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Nice To Haves

• Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering.
• Completed at least the first year of college or university.
• Previous intern experience with Rockwell Automation or its Partner Network.
• Have a personal vehicle for the duration of the internship (for specific tracks).

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their business needs and provide solutions.
• Gather insights about customer organizations to identify opportunities for comprehensive solutions.
• Network and build relationships across customer organizations, from the plant floor to executive levels.
• Qualify customer opportunities and coordinate solution design and presentations.
• Become a subject matter expert in your area of focus, explaining technical requirements and competitive differentiation.
