About the position

The position is an internship role at CoreLogic, focused on collaborating with cross-functional teams to document and support the integration of APIs. Interns will receive guidance from experienced team members while engaging in various activities that enhance their understanding of technical features and functionalities. The role emphasizes the importance of clear communication and documentation, as well as participation in the company's internship program activities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information and understand technical features and functionalities of APIs.
  • Organizing complex technical concepts into structured and coherent documentation.
  • Creating API guides, reference materials, code samples, and tutorials for developers.
  • Utilizing tools to compile, query, and analyze data according to defined business roles and procedures.
  • Producing reports from various data sources to provide actionable information to business stakeholders.
  • Tracking project information, following up on issue status, and resolving routine issues.
  • Participating in Internship Program activities and events, including onboarding and educational activities.
  • Providing general administrative support as needed.
  • Participating in special projects and performing other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in a related field at an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant coursework completed.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative collegiate GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of API concepts, RESTful API design principles, and HTTP protocols.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and engaging technical content for a developer audience.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid analytical capability and sound judgment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior internship or co-op experience preferred.
  • Participation in campus activities related to the field preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through participation in on-campus activities.
