About the position
The Ziegler Intern Technician position offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines and agricultural or construction equipment. This internship is designed to provide real-world mechanical skills while working alongside experienced senior technicians in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines and construction or agriculture equipment in a shop environment.
- Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 2-year degree program in diesel engine mechanics, construction and/or agricultural equipment mechanics or related study.
- Maintain good grades.
- Receive positive recommendations from instructors.
- Possess a positive attitude and desire to work as a team player.
- Own a mechanic tool set.
