We are looking for a researcher with passion for user experience and consumer products who will support our senior usability researchers.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and conducting usability studies to evaluate new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change.
- Conduct benchmarking studies of competitor products from a human interface standpoint.
- Coordinate & schedule usability test with participants including deploying recruiting survey.
- Generate new ideas or recommendation to fix the problem from the finding.
Requirements
- Currently studying Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or related coursework with a graduation date of 2024 or 2025.
- Must be able to work at least 32 hours per week.
- Must be able to work in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo) office lab, as needed.
- Conduct user centered research activities.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to focus on the customer's needs.
- Knowledge of basic interaction design/user-centered design principles.
- Familiarity with UI industry standards for interface design and user testing methodologies.
- Some experience with statistical analysis of user research.
- Working knowledge of documentation tool for specification documents.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organization skills and handling of multiple email communications.
- Ability to collaborate and work as a team.
- Understanding for multi cultures.
