We are looking for a researcher with passion for user experience and consumer products who will support our senior usability researchers.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and conducting usability studies to evaluate new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change.
  • Conduct benchmarking studies of competitor products from a human interface standpoint.
  • Coordinate & schedule usability test with participants including deploying recruiting survey.
  • Generate new ideas or recommendation to fix the problem from the finding.

Requirements

  • Currently studying Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or related coursework with a graduation date of 2024 or 2025.
  • Must be able to work at least 32 hours per week.
  • Must be able to work in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo) office lab, as needed.
  • Conduct user centered research activities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to focus on the customer's needs.
  • Knowledge of basic interaction design/user-centered design principles.
  • Familiarity with UI industry standards for interface design and user testing methodologies.
  • Some experience with statistical analysis of user research.
  • Working knowledge of documentation tool for specification documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organization skills and handling of multiple email communications.
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team.
  • Understanding for multi cultures.
