About the position

The Video Editor Intern position at Lumen is a 10-week summer internship designed for students to gain hands-on experience in video editing and post-production. Interns will work closely with experienced editors and the production team to contribute to various projects, enhancing their skills in a collaborative environment. This role is fully remote and requires a commitment to the entire internship duration from May 30 to August 8, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Assist in video editing and post-production tasks.
• Collaborate with the production team to bring projects to life.
• Support creative services including pre-production design, production/animation, and motion graphics.
• Utilize video editing software to create engaging content.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the video production pipeline and industry-standard techniques.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, with rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
• Graduating between August 2025 and May 2027.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
