About the position

The Intern at Volvo Customer Experience Center will support customer experience events and marketing programs aimed at enhancing engagement with the Volvo Trucks brand. This role provides students with the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting, working alongside marketing and manufacturing professionals to contribute to innovative projects that align with their career goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Volvo Customer Center team in developing and executing successful customer visits or special events.
  • Schedule and facilitate discovery calls with Volvo Trucks dealer and field representatives to understand customer needs and expectations.
  • Support dealers with travel logistics, accommodations, and other requests.
  • Determine and secure commercial crew resources requirements across departments for customer visits.
  • Assist in communicating Volvo Trucks' value proposition through presentations and displays.
  • Utilize CRM and online booking tools to track visitor activities and KPIs.
  • Facilitate visitor and dealer communications before and after events.
  • Assist in securing and setting up materials to support visitors, including customized gift items.
  • Assist in staffing the Volvo Trucks Customer Center brand shop, including tracking transactions.
  • Support special marketing events or internal meetings as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality for internal planning and executive meetings.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Good organizational, planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator; Adobe Premiere is a plus.
  • Positive and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Action-oriented and safety-minded.
