About the position

The Volvo Customer Experience Center internship offers students the opportunity to engage in customer experience events and marketing programs, enhancing brand connections with customers and dealers. This role allows interns to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting while supporting their career goals through collaboration with marketing and manufacturing professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Support customer experience events and marketing programs for customer and dealer visits.
  • Assist in developing and executing successful customer visits or special events.
  • Schedule and facilitate discovery calls with Volvo Trucks dealer and field representatives.
  • Support dealers with travel logistics, accommodations, and other requests.
  • Determine and secure commercial crew resources requirements across departments.
  • Assist in communicating Volvo Trucks' value proposition through presentations and displays.
  • Utilize CRM and online booking tools to track visitor activities and KPIs.
  • Facilitate visitor and dealer communications before and after events.
  • Assist in securing and setting up materials for visitors, including customized gift items.
  • Assist in staffing the Volvo Trucks Customer Center brand shop.
  • Support special marketing events or internal meetings as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality for internal planning and executive meetings.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or Communications at an accredited school.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
  • Completed at least 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
  • Experience in project management, marketing communications, event management, and marketing administrative support.
  • Good organizational, planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator; Adobe Premiere is a plus.
