About the position

The Internal Account Manager will support account assignments from both a strategic and operational perspective, acting as the main point of contact for assigned accounts. This role involves proactive support for account relationships, collaboration with various teams, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance account performance.

Responsibilities

  • Act as main point of contact for assigned accounts for service and operational support and resolution in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the New Business and Underwriting teams on troubleshooting issues related to new business, commission, underwriting, licensing, and client service.
  • Provide detailed responses to accounts regarding resolutions and track communications using Salesforce.
  • Train accounts on new business processes.
  • Monitor and implement account plans for improvements with E-App usage, NIGO, Placement Rates, etc.
  • Coordinate responses on due diligence and RFP requests.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and tactics within assigned relationships, including small incentive programs and product launch activities.
  • Provide proactive and reactive support for RSD(s) including meeting follow-ups and marketing initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry and competitive knowledge, adapting solutions based on needs.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with distribution partners.
  • Schedule, create, deliver, and follow up on webinars.
  • Meet or exceed metrics assigned to the role.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of sales or financial services experience, preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Ability to multi-task between several computer applications while managing conversations.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works well in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, strongly preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Life-only Insurance License or must complete and pass within 180 days of hire.
  • FINRA Series 6 & 63 Licenses preferred.
  • LOMA Insurance Courses I & II or must complete within the first year of employment.
