About The Position
McAllister Towing of NY is seeking highly qualified Internal Auditor/Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) Manager. The position reports to the VP/General Manager of the Port of New York and Connecticut and does not supervise any staff. The role involves providing training in a wide variety of marine subjects and settings, offering technical expertise and conflict resolution in marine towing and compliance issues, inspecting the NY and CT fleet, and ensuring that vessel crews and local staff have the necessary skills and resources to achieve the company's operational, quality, safety, security, and environmental goals. The position also includes conducting internal audits and inspections, drill assessments, and assisting with the maintenance and further development of the Company's Fleet Management System.
