About the position

The Internal Communications and Content Specialist at Sevita is responsible for creating and executing effective communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and keep staff informed. This role involves collaborating with various business leaders to develop content that aligns with corporate priorities and improves sentiment among stakeholders. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work location.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing effective multichannel content plans
  • Collaborating with business leads across a family of services
  • Sourcing, pitching, creating, packaging, and distributing content across owned channels
  • Developing high quality communication materials using a variety of tactics (written communications, talking points, presentation materials, virtual meetings, video messages, etc.)
  • Managing content for the employee intranet
  • Coordinating internal and external communications flow
  • Aligning content plans with audience needs
  • Identifying local earned media opportunities
  • Measuring effectiveness of internal communications channels and audience engagement in an effort to continually improve overall communications strategies
  • Additional responsibilities as needs evolve

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related role
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically, strategically and tactically
  • Experience managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Deft with spreadsheets (Excel, Smartsheet) and informational organization
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Multimedia and basic video editing experience
