About the position

As an Internal Communications Manager at Worldpay, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the internal communications strategy for the People & Culture team. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing employee engagement through effective communication. You will be responsible for managing the development, production, and implementation of people-centric communications that align with the company's business goals. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the People & Culture team to deliver impactful communications for various people programs, ensuring that the messaging resonates with the target audience and supports the overall company objectives. In this role, you will analyze existing communications policies, procedures, and standards to assess their efficiency and effectiveness. You will advise senior management on communication initiatives that promote the company culture and support strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include consulting with both internal and external stakeholders to develop tailored communication solutions, utilizing various methods and techniques to achieve desired outcomes. You will also be tasked with developing and managing the execution of strategic plans and implementing communication tactics that drive engagement and understanding among employees. Additionally, you will oversee the production of various communication vehicles, including intranet feature stories, newsletters, bulletins, videos, and presentations. This will involve coordinating projects, managing timelines, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. You will also coach company representatives to enhance their presentation skills and promote effective communication across the organization. As a leader, you will motivate and mentor your team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Other related duties may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic and engaging role within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the People & Culture team to deliver communications for people programs.
  • Analyze communications policies, procedures, and standards for efficiency and effectiveness based on the needs of the target audiences.
  • Advise senior management on communications initiatives to support company objectives and promote company culture.
  • Communicate company philosophy, policy, and marketing strategy.
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop appropriate communications solutions.
  • Develop and manage the execution of strategic plans and the implementation of communications tactics.
  • Manage the development, production, and implementation of communications and identify appropriate communications vehicles.
  • Direct the development of communications vehicles, e.g., intranet feature stories, newsletters, bulletins, management briefs, videos, direct mail, slide presentations, special events, verbal and written presentations.
  • Coordinate projects and oversee all phases of production, e.g., planning, writing, producing with internal/external vendors.
  • Manage and/or write, edit, and produce communication materials as necessary while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Coach company representatives to maximize the effectiveness of their presentations.
  • Perform staff leadership role and promote motivation through effective management and mentoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Proficiency in communication practices and techniques.
  • Knowledge of the production requirements for printed material, television, and/or radio advertising.
  • Knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
