About the position

As the Manager / Senior Manager, Internal Communications & Marketing Enablement at Salesforce, you will support the Marketing organization by driving executive and employee communications. This role is crucial in keeping the Marketing team informed about company strategy, key marketing programs, and organizational changes. You will design and execute communication programs that engage large audiences, share best practices, and implement tools that enhance the success of marketers at Salesforce. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to identify and disseminate important information effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and maintenance of key cross-functional strategy documents.
  • Support the launch and maintenance of strategic Marketing enablement programs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Employee Success, Finance, and Public Relations for cohesive communications.
  • Align and connect teams by simplifying complex concepts into clear communications.
  • Understand strategic priorities and create relevant internal communications plans.
  • Apply industry best practices for internal communications in a global organization.
  • Develop and manage relationships with executive stakeholders and their teams.
  • Enable Marketing employees on major company initiatives and changes.
  • Build trust and provide regular updates on program status and outcomes.
  • Support the production of large, leader-hosted All Marketing Calls.
  • Inspire employee attendance at internal events and track results for improvement.
  • Track, measure, and report outcomes, providing actionable insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Business Operations.
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Business).
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong writing skills are a must.
  • Exceptional project management skills with an organized approach.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work within deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Motivated, proactive self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Ability to work well under tight timelines and manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence voicing opinions and navigating complex discussions.
  • Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in creating and implementing end-to-end content programs.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for experimenting with AI tools.
  • Experience working with executives and navigating complex discussions.
  • Experience with various technologies, including Salesforce, Tableau, GSites, GSuite.
