About the position

As the Manager / Senior Manager of Internal Communications & Marketing Enablement at Salesforce, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Marketing organization by driving executive and employee communications. This position is designed to keep teams informed about company strategy, key marketing programs, and organizational changes, while also implementing effective communication programs that enhance the success of marketers at Salesforce. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging and simplify complex concepts for a large audience, ultimately fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and maintenance of key cross-functional strategy documents, ensuring alignment across delivery vehicles and systems.
  • Support the launch and maintenance of strategic Marketing enablement programs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Employee Success, Finance, and Public Relations to ensure cohesive communications that align with company messaging.
  • Align, inspire, and connect teams by simplifying complex concepts into clear communications for the Marketing organization.
  • Understand strategic priorities and create relevant internal communications plans to support them.
  • Apply industry best practices for internal communications within a large, global organization.
  • Develop and manage relationships with executive stakeholders and their teams.
  • Enable Marketing employees on major company initiatives such as strategic events, campaigns, product news, and organizational changes.
  • Build trust, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on program status and outcomes.
  • Support the production of large, leader-hosted All Marketing Calls.
  • Inspire employee attendance at internal events; track results and apply learnings to improve future communications and participation.
  • Track, measure, and report outcomes; provide actionable employee insights and suggest relevant topics based on feedback.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Business Operations.
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Teaching, Learning and Development, Business).
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with strong writing skills being a must.
  • Exceptional project management skills with an organized and detailed approach.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex concepts into digestible written content for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize and work within deadlines on highly visible events.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, creating clear outputs from messy inputs.
  • Motivated, proactive self-starter capable of working independently and with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under tight timelines and manage competing priorities across complex initiatives.
  • Confidence in voicing opinions, both positive and contrary.
  • Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team, primarily in the Pacific Time Zone.
  • Deep understanding of adapting tone, style, content structure, and format for content clarity across channels.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in creating and implementing end-to-end content programs.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for experimenting with AI tools.
  • Experience working with executives and navigating complex discussions.
  • Experience with various technologies, including Salesforce, Tableau, GSites, GSuite, Survey Monkey.
