About the position

The Internal Communications & Marketing Enablement Manager/Senior Manager at Salesforce is responsible for supporting the Marketing organization by driving effective communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and keep teams informed in a dynamic environment. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design and execute communication programs that resonate with a large audience, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic priorities and fostering a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and maintenance of key cross-functional strategy documents, ensuring alignment across delivery vehicles and systems.
  • Support the launch and ongoing maintenance of strategic Marketing enablement programs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Employee Success, Finance, and Public Relations to ensure cohesive communications that align with company-wide messaging.
  • Simplify complex concepts into clear, relevant communications for a large Marketing organization.
  • Understand strategic priorities and create relevant internal communication plans to support them.
  • Implement industry best practices for internal communications within a large, global organization.
  • Develop and manage relationships with executive stakeholders and their teams.
  • Enable Marketing employees on major company initiatives, including strategic events, campaigns, product news, and organizational changes.
  • Build trust, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on program status and outcomes.
  • Support the production of large, leader-hosted All Marketing Calls.
  • Inspire employee attendance at internal events and track results to improve future events.
  • Track, measure, and report on communication effectiveness, providing actionable insights and suggestions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Business Operations.
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Teaching, Learning and Development, Business).
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with strong writing abilities.
  • Exceptional project management skills with an organized and detailed approach.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex concepts into digestible written content for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize and work within deadlines on highly visible events.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, creating clear outputs from messy inputs.
  • Motivated, proactive self-starter capable of working independently and with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to work well under tight timelines and manage competing priorities across cross-functional initiatives.
  • Confidence in voicing opinions, both positive and contrary.
  • Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team, primarily in the Pacific Time Zone.
  • Deep understanding of adapting tone, style, content structure, and format across channels for clarity.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in creating and implementing end-to-end content programs.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for experimenting with AI tools.
  • Experience working with executives and navigating complex discussions.
  • Experience with various technologies, including Salesforce, Tableau, GSites, GSuite, Survey Monkey.
