About the position

The Internal Communications Specialist will act as a communications consultant to various global functions within the company, including Executive, HR, Marketing, Product, R&D, and IT. This role focuses on developing and executing clear and engaging messaging and campaigns that effectively communicate internal messages to employees, thereby promoting company culture and driving engagement. The position also offers exposure to external communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute clear, engaging messaging and campaigns for internal communications.
• Ensure internal messages are communicated clearly and effectively to employees.
• Create specific communications action plans, timelines, and defined deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate employee communications content into overall company goals.
• Build strong relationships throughout the organization to cultivate global, cross-functional content.
• Develop culture-building events, including Town Hall meetings and employee engagement events.
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of employee communications strategies.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in communications or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
• Experience developing and executing communications plans.
• Event and project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with an HR team or on HR/employee communications.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Video editing experience.
• Knowledge of SharePoint or other intranet platform tools.
