About the position

The Internal Liaison for Sales/Customer Service plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication and coordination between various departments, including sales, purchasing, and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for tracking orders, managing inventory, and ensuring timely shipping of products while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders involved.

Responsibilities

  • Track orders from the time materials are ordered until the finished product leaves the warehouse.
  • Work with Purchasing to ensure shells are ordered and arriving on time.
  • Notify Sales Representatives of any issues as far ahead of the start ship date as possible.
  • Ensure items and orders are entered accurately.
  • Review compliance guides to ensure there are no issues with packaging, shipping, etc.
  • Order price tickets and hang tags and ensure they reach the correct production facility.
  • Monitor production timelines to ensure goods ship out on time.
  • Ensure that once produced, items are routed and shipped on time.
  • Confirm that invoices are sent out via the output system after shipping.
  • Track and apply for bedding licenses.
  • Monitor inventory and send reports to customers, management, and sales representatives.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination with the warehouse, management, and sales team.
  • Send sales reports to customers and management.
  • Utilize the company's system to ensure all orders are entered, customers are set up, and items are entered correctly.
  • Perform precise data entry.
  • Learn different customer websites and their procedures to share with Shipping and Production.
  • Collaborate with co-workers to ensure all customers are covered.

Requirements

  • Excellent phone and email etiquette and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently.
  • Strong computer skills for data entry and utilizing customer service software.
  • Prior experience in customer support or a related field is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous.
