About the position
This position is for a full-time Internal Medicine physician in Colebrook, New Hampshire, aimed at building a Family Practice in an underserved area. The role emphasizes forming strong relationships with patients in a community that values family and independence. The physician will have a balanced schedule with 36 hours of patient contact and 4 hours dedicated to administrative tasks, managing a patient load of 20-24 per day, and participating in community call on a 1:4 basis.
Responsibilities
- Build a Family Practice in an underserved area.
- Form strong relationships with patients.
- Manage 20-24 patients per day.
- Conduct 36 hours of patient contact time per week.
- Perform 4 hours of administrative duties.
- Participate in community call (1:4).
- Utilize EMR systems including Meditech Expanse and Dragon dictation.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Internal Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice in New Hampshire.
- Experience in a primary care setting is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with EMR systems, particularly Meditech Expanse.
- Familiarity with Dragon dictation software.
