About the position

The Internal Operations Coordinator (IOC) at Chrysalis Center Inc. plays a crucial role in managing back-office operations for Chrysalis Employment Social Enterprises (ESEs). This position involves overseeing various operational tasks, including vehicle fleet management, electronic payroll implementation, recruitment of transitional employees, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for client employees. The IOC collaborates closely with ESE staff and other departments to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and execution of Internal Operations projects.
  • Ensure procedures are effective in supporting ESE objectives and needs.
  • Respond promptly to ESE staff inquiries related to Internal Operations.
  • Maintain case management databases (Salesforce) with timely notes and service entries.
  • Place transitional client workers in ESE positions to meet contractual obligations.
  • Process applications for transitional client workers and facilitate interviews and onboarding.
  • Monitor compliance of employees in safety-sensitive positions with insurance providers and CA DMV's EPN program.
  • Maintain a pool of engaged transitional client workers.
  • Oversee the Works pressure washing program, including scheduling and quality assessment.
  • Order, monitor inventory, and distribute necessary supplies and equipment for ESEs.

Requirements

  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with case management software is a plus.

  • Interest in working with the re-entry community and sensitivity towards Chrysalis client population.
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff and clients.
