About the position

The International Chief Information Officer (CIO) at The Hershey Company is responsible for driving the international IT strategy and overseeing solution and service delivery across various global regions. This role involves leading a team of 45 employees and managing contractors to support the company's growth aspirations and digital transformation initiatives. The CIO will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure technology is effectively leveraged to meet strategic goals, while also ensuring compliance with global IS policies.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy and execution of the international IT organization portfolio across multiple regions including Mexico, Brazil, Canada, India, AMEA, and LATAM.
• Create a leading innovation hub to pilot and scale technology solutions for broader adoption.
• Ensure technology is leveraged to achieve strategic goals by collaborating with international leaders and process owners.
• Articulate and develop the strategy for the international business and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
• Work in an agile manner to define and deliver IT solutions despite constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external technology partners to prioritize and complete projects.
• Ensure compliance with Hershey's global IS policies across international markets.
• Lead the design, testing, implementation, and support of IT solutions to enable growth and operational success.
• Collaborate with the M&A team on evaluating and integrating future international acquisitions.
• Lead the implementation and operations of enterprise-wide and country-specific IT solutions in international markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in managing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions.
• 10 years of experience managing mid to large scale projects ranging from $500k to $5M.
• 5 years of leadership experience in international markets, managing global teams, and implementing ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong strategic mindset oriented towards emerging business trends in technology.
• Proven ability to create a vision for integrating business requirements with digital solutions.

• Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
