About the position

The position involves providing direct support to the Chief of International Cooperation at DARPA, focusing on managing executive duties and facilitating international agreements and outreach initiatives. The role requires a proactive approach to develop strategies that enhance science and technology understanding among partner nations, while also ensuring effective communication and coordination of international activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief, International Cooperation in executive duties including calendar management.
• Coordinate and prepare high-visibility materials for international visits and outreach initiatives.
• Review and staff international armaments agreements with key Department stakeholders.
• Develop and distribute agency-specific reports and communications, including weekly Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) and Outreach/DARPA Activities Emails.
• Manage foreign visit requests and track weekly events, distributing information as directed.
• Prepare Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Activity Reports.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on local and regional international developments and public policy issues.
• Lead internal outreach for new staff, including developing briefs and scheduling meetings.
• Support the development of detailed briefings and materials for senior leader engagements both CONUS and OCONUS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience supporting international agreements or entities
• Active Secret clearance
• Knowledge of relevant international armaments cooperation (IAC)
• Ability to work in a global environment
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
• Significant experience with Microsoft Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with military and government personnel.
