About the position

The International Customer Service Specialist (SAP) role is focused on providing exceptional customer service for international clients, managing order processes, and utilizing SAP systems to ensure efficient order management. This hybrid position requires candidates to work onsite three days a week and involves training that may require additional in-office days. The specialist will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction, managing order statuses, and resolving issues related to order processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage order processes for key customers, including complex supply chain models.
• Enter and acknowledge all orders within 24 hours.
• Utilize SAP to execute customer master and output settings for consistent customer information.
• Provide pricing, availability, and schedule information to customers.
• Maintain or exceed customer revenue and working capital targets.
• Proactively monitor orders using SAP tools and custom reports for on-time shipping and delivery.
• Communicate order status updates to internal and external parties.
• Issue purchase orders to foreign suppliers and manage import documentation.
• Investigate and resolve complaints in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Experience in international customer service.
• Proficiency in SAP, particularly in customer master and order management.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to manage and resolve complaints effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with vendor-managed inventory and consignment processes.
• Familiarity with import/export regulations and documentation.
