About the position

The International Exchange Student Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and managing student exchange programs, focusing on recruitment, support, and ongoing management of participants. This part-time, contract position allows for flexible scheduling and emphasizes the importance of cultural exchange and educational opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate aspects of student exchange programs, including recruitment, orientation, and ongoing support for participants.
• Manage relationships with host families, schools, and community organizations to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
• Conduct training sessions for volunteers to enhance their effectiveness in supporting students.
• Monitor the progress of students and provide ongoing guidance and assistance throughout their exchange experience.
• Organize cultural events and activities to enrich the exchange experience and foster community involvement.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, volunteer participation, and program outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience working with students in an educational or supportive capacity, or in volunteer management is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, families, and community partners.
• A passion for education and cultural exchange that motivates others to participate in the program.
