About the position

The International Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting corporate logistics in managing day-to-day international shipping requirements and planning large projects. This role involves collaborating with various cross-functional teams to ensure efficient logistics operations, identifying preferred shipping methods, and monitoring industry risks. The coordinator will also handle inventory management, data entry, and provide excellent customer service to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support Corporate Logistics on day-to-day international shipping requirements and large project planning.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend preferred international shipping methods, routing, and carriers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on shipping projects and identify specialized input needs.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and scheduling/shipping practices for logistics activities.
  • Monitor logistics industry landscape for potential risks and communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Perform detailed inventory of goods for outbound shipments and reconcile items against requests.
  • Review manifests for remote requests and ensure secure packaging of goods for transit.
  • Data entry, scanning, and organizing shipping documents, along with other administrative tasks.
  • Provide quotes, status updates, and excellent customer service to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in the logistics industry (supply chain, warehouse, shipping & receiving).
  • Experience with domestic air freight, small parcel, LTL/FTL shipping, and knowledge of transportation documents.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Deep knowledge of import and export regulations and laws, with the ability to apply these policies.
  • Expertise in required permits/certifications for shipping to different countries.
  • Organized and proactive approach to identify and monitor business needs.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with a big-picture perspective.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • International shipping and/or entertainment-related shipping experience.
  • Customer service or retail experience preferred.
  • Eager to learn and apply continuous improvement to workflows.
