About the position

The International Logistics Operations Coordinator at Superior Energy Services plays a crucial role in ensuring that customer jobs are executed efficiently and meet critical deadlines. This position involves overseeing import activities, maintaining communication with key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. The coordinator will be responsible for problem-solving and facilitating seamless operations within the logistics team.

Responsibilities

  • Document all applicable quality assurance data and share large file data via Citrix Sharefile.
  • Plan, direct, and control import activities on a daily basis.
  • Oversee obtaining and processing Customs release, arranging delivery, and invoicing import accounts.
  • Coordinate the release of goods from carriers and customs examinations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers, resolving concerns in a timely manner.
  • Understand Customs regulations, tariffs, and Incoterms interpretations.
  • Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery.
  • Seek the most profitable mode of shipment while meeting client requirements.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for the area of responsibility.
  • Update the status of equipment for jobs in the Production Huddle.
  • Assist the Logistics Manager with the current status of all customer jobs.
  • Prepare price quotations for crating and freight for export and import shipments.
  • Develop load tenders and ensure efficient distribution to transportation providers.
  • Prepare and assemble Commercial Invoices and freight documents for imports and exports.
  • Oversee billing work and department revenue tracking to ensure accuracy.
  • Expedite inbound import traffic to facilitate customs clearance.
  • Communicate instructions to vendors for shipment deliveries.
  • Monitor all exports and imports of the assigned business unit.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years of operational experience, preferably in completions tools
  • Experience with MS Office products, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Operational logistics experience
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Knowledge of current practices and technology in the oil and gas industry
  • Understanding of completion services procedures and processes
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
