About the position
The International Operations Coordinator role is focused on managing operations command and control within a global expedited air courier and air cargo company. This position requires a strong understanding of technology and air cargo operations, specifically related to airlines. The role is not remote and is based in San Diego, CA, with a requirement for in-person work.
Responsibilities
- Manage operations command and control for air freight forwarding.
- Utilize technology tools such as MS Outlook and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Handle logistics related to air cargo shipments, ensuring compliance with IATA regulations.
- Coordinate with airlines regarding cargo operations and shipments.
- Maintain knowledge of Pelican Bio-thermal cold chain packaging and conditioning.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of technology, specifically MS Outlook and MS Office applications (Excel).
- Typing speed of 50 WPM or more.
- Knowledge of IATA cargo training and airlines cargo operations.
- Experience with Pelican Bio-thermal cold chain packaging and conditioning.
