About the position

The International Operations Logistics Coordinator role at MilliporeSigma focuses on managing intercompany order management and fulfillment for North American manufactured products. This position provides administrative support to the Life Science Business partners and various functional stakeholders, ensuring high-quality service delivery. The coordinator will be the initial point of contact for intercompany order processing and will develop skills to drive and coordinate in-house management processes effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the order process procedure using assigned systems including SAP and other ERP systems (EDI, web portal, email)
  • Coordinate intercompany inquiries, complaints, and support with internal stakeholders including IT, Operations, Customer Managers, and Business Development
  • Prepare and manage day-to-day international shipment documentation in alignment with subsidiary contracts and internal compliance
  • Prepare information to support both external and internal meetings
  • Coordinate activities across internal teams effectively
  • Champion Customer Relationship Management and manage intercompany activity and interactions
  • Provide administrative support to senior management when necessary
  • Work closely with Operations on pre-shipment activities including export documentation, complaints management, reporting, and key projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or other business discipline
  • 2+ years of work experience with international logistics, exports, and ERP systems

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Oracle Order Management
  • Knowledge of SAP P80 Tempo for Order Processing
  • Understanding of operations, including order processing and logistics processes
  • Technical proficiency with procurement systems and analytic tools
  • Knowledge of MS Office package (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access)
  • Excellent analytical, business process analysis, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures for Intercompany
  • Willingness to learn and quickly adjust to new tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Ability to research problems using ERP systems
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented
  • Ability to complete small scale projects or tasks on a deadline
