About the position

The International Ops Analyst 2 at Huntington Bank is responsible for processing financial transactions related to Import/Export Letters of Credit, managing Incoming/Outgoing Collections, and booking Supply Chain Financing transactions. This role involves ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures, providing support to customers and colleagues, and performing quality checks on completed work. The position is hybrid, based in Columbus, Ohio, and requires a strong understanding of international trade services and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process the issuance and examination of Import/Export Letters of Credit.
• Manage Incoming/Outgoing Collections and book Supply Chain Financing transactions.
• Review credit approvals to ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Provide support and guidance to customers and colleagues regarding procedures.
• Perform quality checks on completed work.
• Cross-train on various departmental activities and functions.
• Coordinate and provide training for other International Trade Specialists as needed.
• Work with audit or risk colleagues to provide information and test internal controls.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 or more years of experience within loan operations, specifically in reviewing loan documents and/or examination experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• College degree.
• Experience in Letter of Credit issuance.
• Certified Documentary Credit Specialist certification.
• Working knowledge of UCP600 and ISP98 standards.
• Knowledge of a foreign language.
