About the position

The International Product Manager at tesa SE is responsible for driving the development and market share gains of the Electrical Systems product offerings in North America. This role involves collaboration with various departments including research and development, global product management, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and competitive positioning in the market.

Responsibilities

• Drive new product conception and development in conjunction with sales, market development managers, R&D, manufacturing, and customer experts.
• Manage total cost in collaboration with various departments to continuously lower costs and improve quality.
• Prepare for product launches in conjunction with relevant departments to drive market development.
• Build relationships with customers to share product expertise and understand their needs and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze and understand key competitive product attributes and document findings on an ongoing basis.
• Conduct product portfolio analysis and make pricing recommendations aligned with the global pricing policy.
• Partner with supply chain and manufacturing to ensure alignment with supply and demand.
• Collaborate with marketing functions to promote product assortment and create marketing content.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or marketing (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of industrial product management experience, preferably in automotive.
• Successful product development experience launching new products from ideation through commercialization.
• Cross-functional project management experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
