About the position

The International Regional Sales Manager for LATAM at Nova Biomedical is responsible for developing and executing a regional business plan and strategy to achieve revenue and product portfolio targets. This role involves managing the distribution channel, conducting market research, and leading sales training for distributors while ensuring alignment with the company's operational plans. The position requires significant travel and direct reporting to the Senior Manager of International Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a regional business plan and strategy to achieve revenue and product portfolio targets.
  • Build and manage the distribution channel and market activity of new and existing distributors.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and conduct sales training in-country.
  • Position the unique value of Nova's products to distributors and their key customers.
  • Conduct market and competitive research and present business plans for new and existing products.
  • Ensure all distributors maximize their efforts to promote and sell Nova Biomedical products.
  • Train Regional Dealer sales personnel in effective sales techniques and presentations.
  • Work with corporate sales and marketing to modify presentations and promotional materials for specific markets.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on sales matters and provide guidance for bid and tender quotations.
  • Develop and renew Distributor Agreements to meet annual quotas and product focus.
  • Meet operational guidelines and deadlines, including salesforce.com updates and sales reporting.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in business, science, or clinical laboratory medicine with diagnostics or laboratory experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in medical diagnostics industry sales or clinical sales.
  • 3+ years of international distributor management experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to excel in an international sales environment.
  • Sales experience in POC testing, bedside glucose monitoring, or Blood Gas systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with salesforce.com and Power Business Intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with the LATAM market and its specific challenges.
