About the position

This position is for a Senior Tax Manager who will oversee multiple tax accounting projects and client engagements within a public accounting firm. The role requires strong leadership and project management skills, as well as the ability to mentor and guide associates. The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for managing workflow, directing staff, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with tax regulations and minimizing tax liabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple tax accounting projects and client engagements.
• Direct and schedule staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Mentor, guide, and train associates in tax practices.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Utilize tax technology to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP Financial Accounting and ASC 740 standards.
• Implement inbound and outbound structure planning for tax minimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Master's degree in Tax.
• 7+ years of recent public accounting firm experience.
• CPA certification.
• Broad technical knowledge of inbound and outbound structure planning and worldwide tax minimization.
• Solid GAAP Financial Accounting/ASC 740 knowledge.
• Experience in mentoring, guiding, and training associates.
• Experience with tax technology.
• Ability to manage and grow strong client relationships.
• Ability to multitask and demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
• Leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and networking acumen.
