About the position
The Senior Associate position in Finance at PwC focuses on supporting the internal finance function, including financial planning, reporting, and data analysis. The role involves recording and analyzing financial transactions, maintaining financial ledgers, and preparing reconciliations to detect fraud. Responsibilities
- Record and analyze financial transactions.
- Pay and receive invoices.
- Maintain financial statement ledger accounts.
- Prepare analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
- Assist the Internal Tax team with financial services, treasury, and taxation.
- Coordinate and prepare direct and indirect foreign tax returns and supporting schedules.
- Interpret and apply international tax treaties to real-world situations.
- Build relationships with other groups and stakeholders.
- Respond to partner and agency queries in a timely manner.
- Communicate with department leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and address client needs.
- Experience with coordinating tax returns and supporting schedules.
- Knowledge of international tax treaties and their application.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, RPA, and data visualization tools.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in resolving varied tax and business problems.
