About the position
This position is for a Senior Associate in the Finance sector at PwC, focusing on internal financial services. The role involves financial planning, reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic initiatives. The Senior Associate will be responsible for recording and analyzing financial transactions, maintaining financial ledgers, and preparing reconciliations to detect fraud. The position also includes providing taxation services related to complex financial reporting and investment management.
Responsibilities
- Record and analyze financial transactions.
- Pay and receive invoices.
- Maintain financial statement ledger accounts.
- Prepare analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
- Assist the Internal Tax team with financial services, treasury, and taxation.
- Coordinate and prepare direct and indirect foreign tax returns and supporting schedules.
- Interpret and apply international tax treaties to real-world situations.
- Build relationships with other groups and stakeholders.
- Respond to partner and agency queries in a timely manner.
- Communicate with department leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and address client needs.
- Experience in coordinating tax returns and supporting schedules.
- Knowledge of international tax treaties and their application.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, RPA, and data visualization tools.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience in resolving varied tax and business problems.
- Strong communication skills for influencing and connecting with others.
