About the position

Gopher Sport is seeking an exceptional International Territory Sales Manager to lead international sales efforts and drive growth across all Gopher Sport brands in non-US and Canadian markets. This key role will focus on achieving annual sales and profit growth goals through effective execution of the Gopher Sport Sales Operating System, while reporting directly to the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and respond to all incoming work in the territory, following company processes and response time standards.
  • Find and qualify new opportunities with existing customers.
  • Execute all outbound activities with prospects.
  • Qualify opportunities, create estimates, and convert to orders.
  • Represent all company brands at trade shows and other in-market events.
  • Organize, host, and follow up with customers at special events such as webinars and training sessions.
  • Document all activities in the CRM according to company processes.
  • Develop relationships with organizations relevant to the buying process.
  • Maintain current contracts, identify new contract opportunities, and collaborate internally to facilitate contract requirements.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in business administration, international business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience consistently achieving or exceeding quota, ideally in the educational or athletic equipment sector.
  • Previous international selling experience and strong knowledge of the international education sector and sports industry is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating international markets and understanding cultural differences is preferred but not required.
  • A lifestyle or educational background aligned with the company's vision of promoting active and healthy lives through physical education and sports.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • NetSuite and/or CRM experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications and Windows Operating System.
