About the position

The position involves supporting jurisdiction and classification needs for the Sikorsky Line of Business at Lockheed Martin. The selected candidate will work closely with engineering and business teams to ensure compliance with ITC regulations, conduct jurisdiction and classification determinations, and interpret technical documents related to export control. This role is crucial for maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting international business development.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day jurisdiction and classification needs for the Sikorsky Line of Business.
• Partner with engineering and business teams to ensure compliance with ITC regulations.
• Conduct timely and efficient jurisdiction and classification determinations.
• Review and interpret technical documents to determine export control status.
• Assist in the development of requests for proviso reconsideration and export license applications.
• Research and analyze engineering designs across multiple disciplines.
• Act as a liaison between various departments to provide engineering analysis and interpretive guidance.

Requirements

• Demonstrated familiarity with Aerospace technologies and products.
• Extensive experience applying ITC regulations to determine jurisdiction and classification of products.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 5 years of professional experience, or 3 years with a related Master's degree.
