About the position

The International Trade Compliance Manager at Schneider Electric will lead the classification transformation projects, focusing on standardizing processes and increasing automation. This role involves collaborating with various teams to manage project scope, communicate benefits, and drive execution while adhering to timelines. The position offers high visibility and the opportunity to build a mission-critical program in a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive classification transformation strategy focused on standardizing processes and increasing automation.
  • Execute strategy across aligned classification transformation projects, leveraging internal and external resources.
  • Manage projects using a defined approach of Process Standardization, Documentation, Automation, Trusted Data, Change Management, and Communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Work closely with Export Control Center of Excellence members to understand requirements.
  • Identify resources needed for projects, manage risks, and build contingencies and mitigation plans.
  • Report project status to key stakeholders regularly.
  • Propose solutions for project challenges and produce course correction actions.
  • Coordinate across regions and departments to ensure timely completion of actions.
  • Transition from project mode to run mode once objectives are achieved.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree.
  • Proven history of developing and implementing successful projects.
  • Expert knowledge of export and import classification.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in project management or a similar management role.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation of KPIs.
  • Proficient in all applications in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Planner, Teams).

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in project management or a similar management role at a multi-national company.
