About the position

Leidos is seeking an International Travel Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Centennial, CO. This hybrid position requires the successful candidate to be responsible for the entry, maintenance, and quality assurance of personal data and other travel details for personnel associated with the National Science Foundation (NSF), subcontractors, and Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) personnel deploying to Antarctica. The role involves a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality, as the data handled includes sensitive personal identifiable information (PII). The Data Entry Clerk will work closely with various stakeholders, including NSF personnel, grantees, and ASC employees, ensuring that all data is entered correctly and maintained in compliance with federal regulations and program policies. The Data Entry Clerk will typically work three days a week in the office and two days remotely, reflecting the hybrid nature of the position. The primary responsibilities include entering data from source documents into the Pipeline database, verifying information with participants, and ensuring the accuracy of completed work. The clerk will also be responsible for scanning documents into management systems, filing both digital and physical documents, and generating weekly reports on participant data. Additionally, the role requires maintaining deployment records for all USAP participants and tracking the Antarctic Service Medal Database, ensuring timely delivery of medals to recipients. This position is covered by the Service Contract Act, with a pay range of $22.00 to $28.00 per hour. The successful candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance and must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. The role is critical in supporting the logistics of personnel deployment to Antarctica, and the Data Entry Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Enter data from source documents into the Pipeline database, files, and forms.
  • Collect, compile, and sort documents for data entry.
  • Verify information with participants and correct data as necessary.
  • Check completed work for accuracy, ensuring a high level of precision.
  • Obtain further information to complete documents as needed.
  • Interface with personnel from the NSF, grantees, ASC employees, subcontractors, and other USAP participants via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Update and maintain deployment records for all USAP participants deploying through Christchurch, New Zealand, and Punta Arenas, Chile.
  • Scan documents into document management systems or databases.
  • File documents into a digital and physical filing system.
  • Generate weekly reports on participant data and completion of personnel files for the Travel team.
  • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files.
  • Maintain a safe workplace program, ensuring safety is the highest priority.
  • Track and maintain the Antarctic Service Medal Database and ensure timely delivery of medals to recipients.
  • Document all communications properly.
  • Act immediately to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure all PII is handled with discretion and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years' experience working with MS Office products, especially MS Excel.
  • Ability to work in the Centennial, Colorado office most weekdays.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance if requested by the customer.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
