About the position

The Internet Specialist / SharePoint Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining SharePoint Online environments, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and providing user support. This role involves content management, workflow automation, security and compliance, and integration with other Microsoft 365 applications. The position requires collaboration with various teams to enhance SharePoint functionality and improve user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain SharePoint Online environments, including site creation, configuration, and governance.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for SharePoint usage, including security policies and data management.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to SharePoint performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Communication teams to create, publish, and manage content across SharePoint sites.
  • Train end-users on how to effectively use SharePoint for content management.
  • Develop and implement workflows using Power Automate to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications such as Power Apps, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Generate reports on SharePoint usage, performance metrics, and user activity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a SharePoint administrator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint administration, including site creation, configuration, and governance.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automating SharePoint tasks.
  • Experience with web technologies such as .NET development, REST APIs, and JavaScript.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate (optional but preferred).
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
