About the position

The Data Visualization & Analytics Engineer internship at ASML US, LLC is designed for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics. This 12-week summer internship focuses on transforming data sets into compelling visuals, providing technical guidance, and communicating results to stakeholders. Interns will engage in various operational aspects, participate in Scrum and SAFe rituals, and present their findings at the end of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Transforming data sets into compelling visuals.
• Providing visual, technical, and editorial guidance.
• Creating and editing visual content for business analysis.
• Communicating results both verbally and in writing.
• Participating in presentations to learn about operations.
• Conducting timely technical risk assessments.
• Actively participating in Scrum and SAFe rituals.
• Documenting and presenting findings at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Excellent visual skills with demonstrable design knowledge.
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire).
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, especially D3.
• Working knowledge of Cloud computing (Azure preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with open source or commercial data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
