About the position

The Data Visualization & Analytics Engineer internship at ASML is designed for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics. This 12-week summer internship focuses on transforming data sets into compelling visuals, providing technical guidance, and communicating results to stakeholders. Interns will engage in various operational aspects, participate in Scrum and SAFe rituals, and present their findings at the end of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Transforming data sets into compelling visuals.
• Providing visual, technical, and editorial guidance.
• Creating and editing visual content for business analysis to key stakeholders.
• Communicating results both verbally and in writing.
• Participating in presentations to learn various aspects of operations.
• Conducting timely technical risk assessments.
• Actively participating in relevant Scrum and SAFe rituals.
• Documenting and presenting findings, including an end-of-summer presentation.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
• Excellent visual skills with demonstrable design knowledge in layout, typography, color, and interaction design.
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire).
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and libraries like D3 is helpful.
• Working knowledge of Cloud computing, preferably Azure.
