About the position

The Digital Asset Librarian Intern will gain hands-on experience in managing the asset lifecycle and post-production processes within Universal's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This internship is designed for students interested in production, data management, and digital asset management, providing opportunities to apply metadata and keywords for asset searchability while supporting library services for users.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in managing the asset lifecycle from upload to sunset.
• Applying proper keywords and metadata to digital assets.
• Maintaining the organization of Universal's digital asset management system.
• Providing library search services to system users.
• Participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policies and procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution with a class standing of Junior or above.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
• Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and organization are essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail and superior written & verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Photo, Video, or Design workflows preferred.
• Experience with Photo and/or Video production, including editing, post-production, and digital marketing, preferred.
