About the position
The Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program offers an opportunity for students to support the development of programs and capabilities for Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. Interns will analyze insights and recommend solutions to enhance eCommerce, focusing on optimizing consumer journeys and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve digital experiences for guests.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and review data-based insights to recommend solutions for optimizing consumer journeys.
- Participate in the development of New Prospect, Trip Conversion, and Booked Guest and Retention programs.
- Assist with the preparation of Marketing Templates & Playbooks.
- Help develop presentations and capture feedback from introspective sessions; lead weekly work sessions.
- Support design thinking initiatives to re-imagine future digital experiences for guests.
- Research Digital Customer Experience best practices and trends across industries.
- Coordinate the development of monthly digital marketing idea sharing sessions for Marketing & Sales and Digital & Technology.
- Understand and participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution with a class standing of Junior or above.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and superior written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and in teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Experience Design.
