The person in this position will work with project teams providing electrical engineering and related technical expertise. The role involves performing basic engineering calculations and analysis, developing details of design, assisting in the design of solutions, monitoring construction projects, and preparing drawings, specifications, and sketches. The work may include tasks related to power distribution, controls, and instrumentation. This position is based out of our Duluth, Minnesota, office, and a hybrid work arrangement may be considered, allowing for a split between working in the office and from home. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, effectively communicating with project team members and clients. Attention to detail is crucial, as the role requires a conscientious approach to the accuracy, appropriateness, and timeliness of results. The candidate should possess a flexible working style, capable of working both independently and collaboratively with teams of specialists to meet client and project needs. Safety is a priority in this role, as some work locations may feature rough terrain typical of construction sites and may require entering and working in facilities with limited accessibility, moving machinery, and other conditions typical of industrial facilities. Safety training will be provided, and applicants may be asked to participate in a drug screening program at the request of specific clients.
