About the position

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Firmware Engineering Intern to support product development and project management initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in engineering design, technical presentations, and collaboration within a team environment, providing a pathway for future leadership opportunities in the field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in product design and development tasks.
• Participate in engineering design competitions and research projects.
• Support manufacturing processes including CNC, 3D printing, and injection molding.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations.
• Engage in project management activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or received a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• At least one internship or Co-Op experience or equivalent of 3 months' work experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Interest in product development and project management.
• Foundational skills in mechanical concepts and principles.
• Technical proficiency with engineering software (CAD).
