About the position

The Cybersecurity Operations Intern will support the information technology department by participating in real-world incident response and applying relevant security and Human Resources policies. This part-time internship is designed for students and will provide hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, including analyzing potential spam or phishing attacks and contributing to security projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, classify, and process incoming email as potential spam or phishing attacks.
• Be part of a Security Operations Center and respond to detections in the environment.
• Participate in security projects to mature existing tools.
• Participate in the development and documentation of security operations center process documentation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student in a relevant field of study.
• Ability to pass a level 3 security check.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience or coursework in cybersecurity or information technology.
